Family values, long term thinking and being innovative is important to our business, all qualities which CJ Lang share. This is a significant contract for us and is very positive news for our farming partners and around 700 colleagues across Scotland.

We look forward to nurturing and building on our new, but already strong relationship with CJ Lang in Scotland through SPAR stores, to deliver exceptional quality Scottish dairy products to local customers.”

Colin McLean, CJ Lang & Son Ltd CEO: “We are delighted to work with the family dairy business Grahams who will be supplying all our 300 SPAR Scotland stores with Scottish milk in a two year deal running until 2021.

SPAR Scotland actively works with local Scottish producers to provide a real point of difference for customers. With over 300 SPAR stores trading in Scotland this secures security of supply for all their farming partners across Scotland.

This year CJ Lang & Son Ltd is celebrating one hundred years rooted in Scottish communities and Grahams is celebrating its 80th anniversary. It’s great that these two genuinely Scottish family businesses will be working together to supply Scottish milk to all our customers which we believe will be the start of a long-term partnership.”
