Recently SPAR stores across Scotland celebrated Halloween with spooky instore displays, Halloween themed competitions for customers and members of staff dressing up in their best costumes to raise funds for the SPAR National charity Marie Curie.

Employees at SPAR stores in Prestwick, Meigle, Cairneyhill, Keith, Stanley and Leven all dressed up in scary costumes for the day and raised £848.23 between them.

SPAR Broadford raised £413 by holding a bake sale, dressing up and by running an instore competition to guess the number of sweets in the bucket.

SPAR St Andrews really got into the spirt with a Halloween fun day where members of staff dressed up.  Customers were invited to take part in instore competitions and raffles, all of which helped them raise £345.
